This course will focus on mouse and rabbit animal models to provide students a state of the art of the technologies in embryo development and pluripotent stem cells (i.e. embryonic stem cells and induced pluripotent stem cells) research and its applications. The course will provide various practical training in micromanipulation techniques, oocyte freezing, embryo cryopreservation, derivation and in vitro/in vivo characterizations of pluripotent stem cells.
